We've finally closed the books on Puzzle One, and we'll be announcing prizewinners shortly. But the books aren't entirely closed—late-coming solvers who want to be in contention for the Grand Prize (solving all 11 puzzles by the deadlines) have been given a two-week reprieve. You can't qualify for a Puzzle One prize, but get your correct answer submitted by March 22 and you'll still be in the grand prize running.
Puzzle Three, Williams Connections, by Brian Wecht '97, is live and ready for solving. The puzzle doesn't come with instructions, so part of the fun is the "aha" moment when you figure out what's going on. (If you're stuck, there will be hints on the site in a week or two.)
On April 10, we'll be presenting Puzzle Five in the form of a live WIlliams trivia event. The evening will include ten rounds of pub-style trivia, all themed around Williams College, along with a hidden puzzle. (Don't worry—if you can't make it to the live event, we'll post the relevant puzzle information on the website as well.) Register here to join the fun!
Thank you to everyone who has been playing the puzzles. I hope you've been enjoying yourselves. Remember we're always available if you have issues, either via the contact link on the site (mainly for technical issues) or via greg AT exaltation-of-larks DOT com (for puzzle feedback).
Happy solving!
